Fashionable Pies Roundup

Look! I threw a party and you came! Thanks so much to everyone who was able to participate this time around. You all made me not look like a total fashion victim, so thank you, thank you, thank you! You all rock!

Hugs,
Holly @

Wow, what a turnout!! Just LOOK at all these Fashionable Pies! Great choice Holly, you got a lot of response!

Now, who wins? Check out all the amazing and oh so fashionable pies and then vote for your three favorites here on the comments. Remember, voting will still only be open to those who participate in the month's challenge and is open til 3:14 pm (Eastern US Time) on the 10th of November.

Be sure to check back on the 10th for the winner and the announcement of the theme for December! Not to tease or anything (ok, it is a total tease) but Anne has come up with an absolutely perfect and fantastic theme you won't want to miss!

Everyone really did such an amazing job. After much deliberation and thought, here are my favorite fashion pies:

Mark's Black and White Pannacotta Tart because that pattern is so right up my alley for what I love in prints.

Nic's Batik print pies because, seriously, she painted the patterns and that is just over the top in my book.

Sarah's Animal Print Pie because it just looks so cool and the fact that she went for it and translated that type of pattern into a pie just rocks.

This was SO hard picking favorites because they are all incredible!

What a tough choice, everyone is so creative! Here are my votes:

Warm Sweater Apple Pie by Lauren of I'll Eat You- It made me laugh out loud relishing the creativity!

Batik Pies by Nic of Bakeologie- Very impressive technique!

Yuzu Got Big Hair Pie by Mary the Food Librarian- Very creative idea! I love looking back at the big hair of the 80's, lol!

Wow. Everyone did a great job - after reading this I am seriously craving a sweet treat too!

Well, I am forced to choose so:

Warm Sweater Apple Pie, by Lauren of I'll Eat You - Why? Come on! She tried to KNIT dough. I can barely knit yarn!

Animal Print Pie, by Sarah of Sweet's by Sarah -- Why? It just looks delicious and she pulled off animal print with pudding!

Batik Pies, by Nic of Bakeologie -- Why? Very creative. I never thought to dye dough.
