April's Winner and A New Theme For May!

First of all, a big, fat THANK YOU to everyone who helped us make our first month back SO successful! We were thrilled with the Round-Up and the pies...? Oh, heavens! The pies ALL looked amazing! So thank you, to everyone who participated and helped make April one fantastic month of pie-making!

And now, on to the winner of our "Spring" theme:

Congratulations to Erin of Milk & Honey! Her fresh, beautiful Pineapple-Strawberry Pie had us all drooling! So now, Erin has the honor of choosing our theme for May! Go Erin, go!

Ready??? The theme for May is....[drum roll]...PIZZA PIES!!

How cool is this? Want to make a deep dish Chicago-style pizza? Go for it! Fruit pizza? Chocolate pizza? Go for it! Feel free to get as creative as you want, just remember..."pizza PIE" is the theme- no pizza bites, pizza rolls or things of that nature. It's gotta be round, and it's gotta be a "pie". We are a pie making group after all. ;-)

Ok, pie-lovers, you know what to do! After you've created and blogged your pie, email us the link to your post, the title of your pie, your blog name and a 300pix picture of your pie. You have until May 13th. Now get in those kitchens and start baking up those Pizza Pies!
