July's Winner and a FUN New Theme for August!!

Drumroll please!! Congrats to Branny of Branny Boils Over, our winner for July!! Her beautiful Peach Pie garnered the most votes, and her choice for August is for everyone to...

"Choose a pie that best represents your personality and use your blog write-up to justify your choice."

Are you sweet, salty or bitter? :) Maybe you're nutty or a bit fruity. How about spicy? Look within and come up with an original pie describing your unique self.

July's "Summer Fruit" Round Up

**EDIT** Grapefruit of Needful Things was just a few days short of making the Round Up in time, so here's a look at her Summer Fruit Gallette!

What a fruitful month!! Chosen by Erin of Milk & Honey, our "Summer Fruit" pies were supposed to highlight those beautiful summer fruits while they're in their prime... berries, cherries, peaches, etc. We received some awesome-looking (and sounding!) pies this month, so get those forks ready - here they are!!

As always, only those who submitted pies this month are eligible to vote - pick your TWO favorite pies and leave your votes in the 'Comments' section of this post. We'll announce the winner and the new theme for August in the next few days, so please check back!
